Blitzer is the first large-scale team project developed during my second year, created over a period of 1.5 months using Unity in a 2D environment.

The game takes place during World War II and follows an Allied spy gifted with mysterious electrical powers. Sent deep into enemy territory, the player infiltrates dangerous military facilities in search of classified information linked to the transportation of an Enigma machine.

Throughout the adventure, players navigate secret bases, avoid enemy patrols, and overcome environmental hazards while progressively uncovering critical intelligence. The project combines stealth, action, platforming, and exploration mechanics in a tense wartime atmosphere inspired by classic infiltration games.

Blitzer delivers a mix of stealth, action, and platforming gameplay while showcasing the collaborative work of a student team building a complete game production pipeline for the first time.

Challenges of the project

  • Designing enemy behaviors and implementing reactive AI systems adapted to stealth gameplay.
  • Creating a dynamic 2D camera system with smooth transitions to support exploration and cinematic moments.
  • Developing environmental gameplay mechanics such as wind interactions, trap systems, and checkpoint logic.
  • My contribution: I worked on the enemy AI systems, the camera system, environmental wind mechanics, and the checkpoint system.
